For Candidates

2019 Candidate filing period is May 13-17, 2019

Candidate Lot Draw - The Lot Draw determines the order of candidate names on the Primary ballot. If the office does not have a Primary Election, the Lot Draw is used for the General Election ballot. The order of names for offices that had a Primary Election on the General Election is based on the number of votes received in the Primary. The highest vote getter in the Primary will be listed first on the General ballot.

The only office on the Jefferson County Primary Election ballot is Chimacum School District No. 49, Director District 3 (4 candidates filed for this office - the top 2 vote getters will advance to the General Election ballot)

In the left bar, click on Offices Open for Election, to see which offices are open for filing and if there is a filing fee.
