North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee (NPC MRC)

Overview 
The North Pacific Coast (NPC) Marine Resources Committee (MRC) promotes community involvement in Pacific Coast issues in western Clallam and Jefferson Counties. MRC members and participants learn about resource conditions and coastal community needs, participate in local and regional projects, and sponsor activities and studies having to do with the unique management issues of Washington's outer coast.

Jefferson and Clallam Counties 
North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee (NPC MRC)


As part of Washington State’s Coastal Marine Resources Committees Program, the NPC MRC conducts activities and projects in support of coastal ecosystems and sustainable marine-based livelihoods in western Clallam and Jefferson Counties. Meetings are held each month on third Tuesdays, 4-6pm (except December) at the Olympic Natural Resources Center in Forks, WA. There is currently a vacancy for a citizen representative of Jefferson County. Interested individuals should submit a letter or email of interest to the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 or jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018. This is a non-paid position.
