Building Permit Intake Appointments

In-person building permit intake appointments are available Mon-ThurOur walk-in hours for customer questions will be M-Th 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-4:30 PM. DCD will no longer accept applications by drop-off or mail. You must schedule an appointment with front staff to submit.

If your are interested in making an appointment for submitting your permit, please prepare the following, then choose a desired appointment and follow all subsequent prompts:

  • You will need to know your parcel number. You can research your parcel number by clicking here.

Submit building plans - THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT - digitally to 
dcd@co.jefferson.wa.us or to our FILESHARE  
This is preferred over a paper submittal. At permit issuance an approved digital copy 
will be sent to you to print out for the job site
