Superior Court Commissioner

Lorraine Rimson has been licensed to practice law in Washington State since 1993.  She opened her own law office in downtown Seattle in September 1995.  Initially, she practiced primarily in King and Snohomish Counties.  Lorraine began practicing in Jefferson County in 2012, when she and her law partner created Kurlin & Rimson, PLLC, and soon thereafter moved her practice almost exclusively to Jefferson and Clallam Counties.  

Since working on the Peninsula, Lorraine has been actively involved with the Jefferson County Bar Association (JCBA) and Clallam Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers.  She is a member of the Clallam County Bar Association as well as the JCBA. 

Beginning in 2019, Lorraine served as a Judge Pro Tem in Jefferson County District Court.  In January 2021, she became a Commissioner in both Jefferson County District Court and Clallam County District Court 2 (Forks).  In January, 2023, Lorraine began serving as a Commissioner Pro Tem in Clallam County Superior Court.
