The Family Planning Only Program (formerly referred to as Take Charge) offers free and confidential birth control/family planning services for women, men and teens in Washington State. The program covers one annual exam for women, free pregnancy testing and free birth control (including tubal ligation for women and vasectomy for men) for 1 full year.

Eligibility for Family Planning Only Program (formerly referred to as Take Charge) is based on income and citizenship/legal residency status. Effective January 1, 2018, to be eligible for the program an applicant must:
Have applied for Washington Apple Health and been denied
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent/legal resident for at least 5 years
Household income must be at or below 250% of the federal poverty level
Under age 19 and want family planning services kept confidential
