Pregnant? New Baby?
You have what it takes.
All parents have questions and concerns.
Our public health staff has expertise in family and health issues. We are committed to supporting you in being the best parent that you can be so that all our Jefferson children get off to a good start, thriving in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.  We offer support and education to pregnant women and parents of young children who are income-eligible.

We also provide resources for families with children with special healthcare needs.

In order to ensure family health and safety, all of our services are available by phone and/or virtually during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Learn more about our Family Health Service programs, by calling us at 360.385.9400

A team of public health nurses, a public health educator,  and a dietitian can give you the support, advice and information you need.  Apple Health eligible pregnant mothers and their children (until their child's first birthday) can receive services to promote and support healthy pregnancies, healthy babies, safe and responsible parenting, and to link families with community resources

The Mom's Tea is a virtual weekly gathering for pregnant women and moms of infants and young children. It is held weekly on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Talk with other women about being a new mom, feeding your baby, parenting, and life with a baby. A certified lactation consultant is present to answer questions about breastfeeding.

All pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and their babies/children are welcome.

If you or someone you know is interested in attending this virtual support gathering, call 360-395-9424 and leave a message that includes your e-mail address and/or your phone number if you wish to receive a link to the gathering.
