Jefferson County Public Works will convene a special public meeting of the Solid Waste Advisory Committee to discuss possible changes to the Jefferson County Recycling Program.  China suddenly shut down access to recovered recyclables markets leaving exporters around the world with much more products than markets to sell to and little time to adjust to new closed China market conditions.  As a result, possible changes to Jefferson County Recycling Program for the next two years will be discussed, as well as when these changes could begin.
