The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 6:30pm in the Jefferson County Superior Courtroom, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA for the purpose of taking written/oral testimony regarding an Ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 18.22 of the Jefferson County Code, known as the critical areas ordinance (CAO).

On February 3, 2020, the Planning Commission transmitted to the Board of County Commissioners its findings and recommendations on the draft CAO. That transmittal includes the draft CAO and can be viewed by clicking HERE.

At the 6:30 pm March 2, 2020 Public Hearing, the public is encouraged to provide oral and written testimony on the proposed CAO. In addition, written testimony is also invited beginning February 12, 2020 and ending on March 2, 2020 at the end of the Public Hearing, unless extended by the Board of County Commissioners.
