[ARCHIVED] February 24, 2020: County Commissioners Deliberate on Two Commercial Shooting Facility Ordinances

At 10:15 AM on Monday, February 24, 2020 the County Commissioners will continue their deliberations and may take action on two ordinances:  one ordinance amending operations regulations for commercial shooting facilities in Title 8 Health and Safety of the Jefferson County Code (JCC); and a second ordinance amending development regulations for commercial shooting facilities in Title 18 Unified Development Code JCC.  Both ordinances apply to unincorporated Jefferson County.

Commissioners held a public hearing on February 10, 2020 on the Planning Commission’s two recommended commercial shooting facility ordinances.  On February 18, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners began deliberations on the ordinances and the complete hearing record, and directed staff to provide the Commissioners with revised draft ordinances for deliberations on February 24, 2020.  To view the revised draft ordinances, showing changes from the Planning Commission’s versions in tracked changes, click on the links below:
