UPDATE 11/2/21: There is now a waitlist for this clinic, appointments have filled.

JEFFERSON COUNTY— An additional Moderna booster vaccination clinic is planned for people 65 years of age and older and for those aged 18 to 64 who are at high risk of severe COVID-19. Details:

• Saturday, November 6, 9 AM-12 PM, Chimacum School, 91 West Valley Road, Chimacum. Enter the clinic off West Valley Road from Highway 19.

NOTE: If you are currently on a waitlist for our other Moderna booster clinics, you still need to schedule an appointment for this clinic. 

More about eligibility/mix & match:

• You should receive your Moderna booster six months after receiving your second dose. Moderna boosters are half the dosage of a primary or secondary shot. 
• You may also receive a Moderna booster if you are six months past your second dose of Pfizer or two months past your Johnson & Johnson vaccination. 
• If you are moderately to severely immunocompromised, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend you receive a full, third dose. (Moderna boosters are a ½ dose). Full, third doses will NOT be offered at these clinics. Contact your healthcare provider or local pharmacy to schedule a third dose, if needed. 

Bring proof of vaccination.

Forms of proof include a vaccination card or a copy of your vaccination record from Washington State Department of Health, which you may retrieve at no cost by logging into https://wa.myir.net/register. Digital or hard copies of proof will be accepted.

The clinic will not replace lost vaccination cards. If your vaccination card is laminated, you will be issued an additional card with only the booster dose listed.

Booster shots are also available at some area pharmacies and through healthcare providers. Please note demand for boosters is high so wait times may be long and appointments may be booked out far in advance.
