COVID-19 vaccine clinics for children 6 months and older offered in Quilcene

COVID-19 vaccine clinics for children 6 months and older offered in Quilcene

QUILCENE—COVID-19 vaccinations for families with children 6 months and older will happen on the following dates at a Jefferson County Public Health clinic in Quilcene from 9 AM-1 PM:

  • Saturday, July 30
  • Saturday, September 10
  • Saturday, October 22  Cancelled.

 Call 360-385-9400 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins considered depending on capacity. Appointments for vaccinations are also available at the Jefferson County Public Health clinic in Port Townsend. 

The Quilcene clinic address is 294843 Highway 101. It is in the same building as the U.S. Post Office, but on the backside of the building, which faces Rodgers Street.

A Jefferson County Public Health nurse will administer the vaccines. Adults may also receive their COVID-19 vaccination, whether it be their first or second dose, or first or second booster dose. Moderna will be available to anyone aged 6 months or older. At the July clinic, a limited supply of Pfizer will available to those aged 5 years and older. 

 Vaccinations are given at no cost to families. If a family has medical insurance, public health will bill the insurance company for the vaccination.

 Other regional vaccination options: 

  • Established patients of Jefferson Healthcare may choose to schedule a vaccination appointment by calling their primary doctor’s office. 
  • Vaccinations for children ages three and older are available at some Walmart and Rite-Aid pharmacies. Visit their websites to schedule an appointment.
